Hi,
The people reading this will most likely know who I am, so I don't think I need to introduce myself. However, seeing as everything in today's society need justification, I do feel that I need to explain myself.
I've decided to start this blog, website, vent page, whatever you want to call it, mostly because I, like many teenagers who feel that it's not OK to express their feelings, need a place where I can just talk about whatever I need to without explanation, justification, or validation from those who think that public expression is weird and uncool. I've seen many kids, in my school specifically, badgered and judged for wanting to express themselves on the internet. I try my best to not join in, but this thing called peer pressure that we all learned about in elementary school still resides in even the smallest of actions, and I can't even watch a video on my phone without someone saying, "Oh isn't that the worse thing you've ever seen? isn't that terrible?", when I may think the complete opposite, but have to say, "Yea I'm watching this because of how bad it is, I'm watching this because its a joke," because otherwise I'm the butt of the joke. Now I guess I'm going to be the one that people laugh at through their screens, and I'm going to be the one that people gossip about at their lunch tables, because I'm trying to let my self vent a little bit here and there.
Along with letting myself breath a little bit, I also hope that at some point, people will be able to come here to let themselves breath. They can come here and comment on open forum posts where the sole point of it is to be just that: a place where YOU can come and throw up all over the keyboard and not worry about being judged or laughed at or anything of that matter. So yea. That's why I've started this site. Because I need it, and you most likely need it too.
